Manchester United have branded claims Alejandro Garnacho and his brother Roberto have been leaking team news "rubbish".
United's starting line-up for their dramatic 2-1 win over rivals Manchester City was leaked well ahead of the game, including the news that both Garnacho and Marcus Rashford had been dropped.
There had been speculation that Garnacho and his brother had been behind the leaks, but the Manchester Evening News are reporting that club sources have dismissed that theory as "rubbish".
It has also been claimed that Amad was quizzed by the club about the leaks, but the report states that the 22-year-old 'has not leaked any team news'. Instead, the club believes the leaks are coming from a 'network of people with varying motivations and incentives'.

United are also said to have denied launching an investigation into the issue following the derby. Head coach Ruben Amorim was asked about the leaks following his side's win over City and he admitted it would be "impossible to fix".
He said: "I know that story. I think it is impossible to fix, because you have a lot of people in the club, the players talk with agents, you can talk with friends, it's hard to know, it is not a good thing. But let's move on and go to the next one and see if they find the next starting XI!"
United will be back in action when they take on Tottenham in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup on Thursday, followed by a clash with Bournemouth at Old Trafford on Sunday. And both Garnacho and Rashford could be welcomed back into the XI for those games.

Team news has been getting leaked ahead of United games
"It's important to say it was not a disciplinary thing," Amorim said when asked about the duo's absence against City. "If it was disciplinary, I would say that here and it would be a bigger problem, but it was not that. Next week, next game, a new life.
"But for me it's important, the performance in training, the performance in game, the way you dress, the way you eat, the way you engage with team-mates - everything is important at the beginning of something when we want to change a lot of things.
"When people in our club are losing their jobs, we have to put the standards really high and for that they have to fight for a place in the team. Today the team proved we can leave anyone out of the squad and manage to win if you play together."
