The Friedkin Group looks set to complete its takeover of Everton by Thursday and attend the clash against Chelsea, according to David Ornstein.
The journalist reported to The Athletic on Wednesday (18 December) that the process is in the final stages and could be completed as early as 19 December.
All that is needed now at Goodison is a notification that all official documentation has been completed.
An announcement will follow with TFG representatives in the UK and likely to then attend the clash against Chelsea at Goodison Park on Sunday (22 December).

It has been a long time coming but supporters on the blue side of Merseyside appear to finally have a new owner to get excited about.

The Roma owners have plenty to deal with at Goodison Park after taking over from Farhad Moshiri who has had issues of his own to deal with.
That is all in the past for Everton with Friedkin now set to come in and take charge and potentially make changes of his own.
