**Newcastle United are looking to book their place in the Carabao Cup semi-final tonight at the expense of fellow Premier League side Brentford.**
The team news is in ahead of the massive game at St James' Park which will kick-off at 7:45pm live on Sky Sports+.
As we expected, Eddie Howe has gone with a strong side to take on the Bees to give his side the best possible chance of progression.
Indeed, as we predicted, Howe has stuck with the exact same side that beat Leicester City at the weekend.

As you were
Lewis Miley on the bench for Sean Longstaff is the only change for Eddie Howe
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
In fact, the team sheet is almost entirely identical with the only change being Lewis Miley coming in on the bench to replace the suspended Sean Longstaff.
Now all that remains is for this same team to put in a similar performance to Saturday and the result should take care of itself.
With the St James' Park crowd behind them, this team can accomplish anything, so we've got the team selection right, we just need to get the atmosphere spot on to push the lads on.
Bryan Mbeumo starts on the bench for Brentford
----------------------------------------------
Bryan Mbeumo has to make do with a place on the bench for Brentford which should come as a relief to Newcastle fans with him being identified as the danger man.
Yoane Wissa does start, however, as does Kevin Schade who is capable of causing a few problems.
It's a strong Brentford side with both clubs clearly going for the win. We're in for an interesting night of football.
