The team sheets are in at St James’ Park, where Newcastle United and Brentford will do battle for a place in the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup.

Fresh from Saturday’s 4-0 win over Leicester, here’s the side Eddie Howe has gone with:

**STARTING XI:** Dubravka – Livramento, Schar, Burn, Hall – Guimaraes, Tonali, Joelinton – Murphy, Isak, Gordon.

**SUBS:**  Vlachodimos, Barnes, Willock, Osula, Kelly, Targett, Almiron, Miley, Trippier.

So, it’s the same side that battered the Foxes last weekend, with the same back four, a midfield three of Tonali, Bruno and Joelinton, along with Gordon, Isak and Murphy in attack.

Six miss out as expected: Sean Longstaff (suspended), Nick Pope (knee), Callum Wilson (hamstring), Sven Botman (not yet match fit), Emil Krafth (collarbone) and Jamaal Lascelles (ACL).

For Brentford, star man and reported Toon target Bryan Mbeumo does NOT start after scoring his 10th goal of the season in their 2-1 defeat at Chelsea on Sunday night.

While Newcastle take on Brentford tonight, there are two other quarter-finals to keep an eye on tonight (if we win!) and another tomorrow:

Arsenal host Crystal Palace, manager-less Southampton take on Liverpool at St Mary’s, while Spurs play Man Utd at the Tottenham Hostpur Stadium tomorrow night.

* Newcastle vs Brentford

* Arsenal vs Crystal Palace

* Southampton vs Liverpool

* Tottenham vs Man Utd

Let’s hope our lads can get the job done tonight and take us one step closer to Wembley.

HOWAY THE LADS!
