As reported byCaught Offside, Premeir League club Chelsea are willing to offload their midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall in the upcoming winter transfer window as the player has failed to meet the expectations so far.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall hasn’t adapted well yet
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall started his career at Nottingham and moved to Chelsea in the summer of 2024. Over the past six months, he has failed to do enough to convince manager Enzo Maresca to provide him with a better role in the squad.

Dewsbury-Hall has featured in 14 games so far andmanaged to get only one goal and as many assists. Heis averaging 0.9 shots, 0.1 key passes, and 0.6 dribbles per game (stats viawhoscored).
The English midfielder is a proper box-to-box midfielder as he can contribute to both aspects of the game. He provides the solidity in the middle of the park. On the front end, he is also aggressive and impactful in creation of the chances.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall can leave Chelsea this winter.
Chelsea brought Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall with high hopes, which the player has visibly failed to match. Hence, the club are willing to offload him in the January window in hopes of reinvesting that amount in a player who would yield better results.
As things stand, Arsenal are the front-runner to land the player. Recently they also cracked a loan deal for Raheem Sterling from the Blues and hence, the chances of both parties reaching a conclussion is really high.
From the player’s point of view, leaving Stamford Bridge won’t be a bad idea too. At 26 years of age, he needs to play regularly to keep improving. Though even Arsenal can’t guarantee him a starting position, the sitution could be at least better when compared to Chelsea.
