Isaiah Jones has expressed his interest in leaving Middlesbrough in January having been previously linked with a move to West Ham.
Jones has been a consistent performer for Boro in the Championship and was linked with a West Ham move in 2022 but it never materialised (Football League World).
Since then, Jones has gone from strength to strength for the Teesiders and according to FLW, he is looking for a route out of the club in January.
Julen Lopetegui had previously been mooted to have until January to save his job and the acquisition of Jones could provide him with a boost in his attempts to achieve that.
Isaiah Jones would be a smart addition to West ham
There is no doubt that January will play a crucial role in deciding how the remainder of the campaign pans out for the Irons but they have to play their cards right.

By signing Jones, they would be doing just that and it is a deal that needs to be considered at the London Stadium.
Jones can play in several positions having often featured as a wingback and a right winger for Michael Carrick, who is another man on Teeside to have been linked with a switch to West Ham (Daily Mirror).

His ability to perform in various areas of the pitch would be of great use to the Hammers in a squad that certainly wouldn’t be harmed by having additional depth.
Whether the club go back in for Jones is yet to be seen but it is certainly a deal that makes sense for all parties and could be one to keep an eye on.
In other West Ham news, the Irons’ chances of signing Marcus Rashford has been assessed.
