Jesper Lindstrom has failed to offer anything at Everton since arriving on loan and his future must be considered before that of Sean Dyche.

While Dyche has certainly played his role in what has been a dismal campaign for the Toffees, his players haven’t helped him with Lindstrom one of those underperforming.

Dyche’s future is certainly under consideration but before any decision is made on him, the Toffees need to axe Lindstrom in January.

The Dane has left his boss between a rock and a hard place with his lack of ability in the Premier League this season.

Jesper Lindstrom has been a flop for Everton

While there have been several players failing to live up to expectations this season, Lindstrom is certainly top of the list having failed to register a single goal contribution in any of his 11 appearances.

Links to Watford star Giorgi Chakvetadze (Football League World) showcase Everton’s awareness of their attacking woes and it could spell the end of Lindstrom.

His woes go far beyond his number of contributions with his stats from this season providing a disappointing reminder of how little he has offered.

According to FotMob, the Danish forward has completed just 110 passes in 517 minutes of action, just 19.15 per game which places him in the bottom 24.2 per cent of players in his position.

In terms of crossing ability, his numbers aren’t much better. While his 10 completed crosses isn’t a bad return, his 27.8 per cent accuracy with crosses is very poor.

His ability on the ball has been non-existent and has contributed to an Everton side that have failed miserably in transition in most of their encounters.

Lindstrom has completed just three dribbles this season and when taking into account his position in the team, it is a vile showcase of how little he offers. In fact, he has completed just 21.4 per cent of his attempted dribbles.

His future at the club needs to come under consideration as a priority.
