Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma was forced off and left needing stitches to stop heavy bleeding from his face after a nasty collision with Wilfried Singo during Paris Saint-Germain’s 4-2 win over Monaco in Ligue 1 on Wednesday evening.
The Azzurri no.1 came out bravely in an attempt to stop Singo on the corner of his area, but took the Frenchman’s studs right to the face as he stretched to try and control the ball.
Donnarumma was reportedly left feeling completely dazed after the incident, as blood poured out of his face after suffering multiple deep cuts to his face.

The former Milan goalkeeper was obviously forced off as a result of his injury and was replaced by Matvei Safonov for the remainder of proceedings.
It is unclear how long the Italy stopper will be sidelined for, but it would take an impressive turnaround for him to feature against Lens in the Coupe de France on Sunday night.
