Paris Saint-Germain faced a setback during their match against AS Monaco on Wednesday night when Gianluigi Donnarumma was forced to leave the pitch early in the first half.The incident occurred as Donnarumma came out to challenge Wilfried Singo, who was preparing for a potential shot.
Singo touched the ball as the two closed in and tried to jump over the PSG goalkeeper. Unfortunately, the timing went awry, and Donnarumma took a cleat to the face.
The injury forced the Italian to exit the pitch, but PSG went on to secure a 4-2 victory. After the game,Arthur Perrot of RMC Sport shared a photo highlighting the severity of Donnarumma’s facial injury.
