WEST Ham manager Julen Lopetegui was pleased with his side’s mentality against ‘one of the more demanding teams’ in the league in Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth.
The [Cherries](http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/cherries/clubnews/) hosted the Hammers on Monday night, with the sides sharing the spoils after Lucas Paqueta’s penalty with three minutes to play was cancelled out by Enes Unal’s stunning free kick in the final minute of the 90.
It had been an even contest that was at scrappy at times until a frantic finish that saw both sides create chances – although Bournemouth were again left to rue missed chances as they had 29 shots on goal in the match.
Speaking to the media after the game, Lopetegui said: “We keep a very strong mentality in a very difficult match against Wolves and against one of the more demanding teams in the Premier League (Bournemouth) we showed a very good behaviour.
“We were very brave, we go to press them in their box, we have a lot of chances and we were very close to achieving three points.
“This is the way we have to keep and to look forward with this mentality, knowing that we are stronger when all the players do his best for the team.”
