Wolves are under serious threat of being relegated from the Premier League this season after an awful start.
The club have won just two Premier League games this season, and have conceded 40 goals in just 16 games.
Wolves have been hopeless at the back at times, and the decision not to sign a replacement for Max Kilman in the summer has proven disastrous.
O’Neil was sacked by Wolves on Sunday, following the defeat to Ipswich Town on the Saturday – and almost everyone felt it was the right decision for the club. Some Wolves fans even felt the decision to sack O’Neil might have come too late.
Vitor Pereira is the man Wolves have turned to, in the hope that he’ll guide the club away from the relegation zone.
But pundit Gary Neville reckons the writing could be on the wall for Wolves.

There is still a lot of football left to be played this season, and time for Wolves to turn things around.
But there are many problems right now, and Pereira undoubtedly has a huge job on his hands. The mains ones being that Wolves are awful defensively, are too emotional and are likely very low on confidence.
MORE WOLVES STORIES
There are still plenty of people who think Wolves will stay up though, given the quality of players on paper.
But Gary Neville can’t forsee Wanderers surviving.
He said in a new video on the US Overlap channel: “I’m going to say Wolves (to go down), because to be fair when I watched them against Liverpool… Liverpool weren’t great in the game at all, but they didn’t have to be.
“They were absolutely awful Wolves, and I thought ‘Oh no’. So I think Wolves to be honest with you, are probably going to go, unless they can do something in the January transfer window.”
Neville slammed Wolves for the way they played against Liverpool, with players insisting on building from the back as they were chasing that game.
Wolves are in trouble and need a seriously good January window
It’s understandable that Neville would offer this verdict, as it was the last commentary he did on Wolves and it was a woeful performance that has clearly stuck with him.
Wolves have lots of problems right now, and the club are taking a big gamble with Pereira. But seemingly, there weren’t many others willing to actually take the job on.
Quite simply, Fosun have got to back their new man to the hilt in January.
Supposedly, Wolves will look to sign two new defensive recruits for Pereira, and fans will hope that does come to fruition.
That is the number one issue that needs fixing. If Pereira can solve that, while keeping Wolves fairly potent in the final third, then there will be a strong chance of survival.
