Report: 'Super' £30m Chelsea player is now being watched by Manchester United and Tottenham

One Chelsea player could become a target for both Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.

There are likely to be exits at Chelsea next month when the transfer window opens, with Enzo Maresca not able to give everyone in his squad minutes.

For example, the likes of Ben Chilwell, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Carney Chukwuemeka are yet to make a start in the Premier League this season.

Despite having only signed him in the summer, it has been claimed that Maresca is ready to let Dewsbury-Hall go.

Manchester United and Tottenham watching Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

Dewsbury-Hall’s stock still looks to be high, even though the midfielder has barely played since his £30m move from Leicester City to Chelsea.

According to CaughtOffside, United and Tottenham are just two clubs who are currently watching Dewsbury-Hall.

In October, former Chelsea winger Pat Nevin described Dewsbury-Hall as a “super player”, but the 26-year-old has not had the chance to show that in the Premier League this season.

In total, Dewsbury-Hall has only played 55 minutes of football in the English top flight.

Who else is interested in Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall?

If a move to United or Tottenham does not materialise, Dewsbury-Hall could still have plenty of other options, including his former club Leicester.

The same report from CaughtOffside claims that the Foxes, Arsenal, Fulham, Rangers, Aston Villa, Newcastle United, Brighton & Hove Albion and Brentford are all also interested in the Englishman.

It is not hard to see why. He had a very good season in the Championship last term, coming up with 26 goal contributions in 44 appearances.

It has not worked out for him at Chelsea, though, and a move away from Stamford Bridge now looks to be in his best interest. Competing against Moises Caicedo, Enzo Fernandez and Romeo Lavia for a spot in Maresca’s team, Dewsbury-Hall is never going to be a starter.

If there are exits at Chelsea next month, the former Leicester man could be one of them.
