Chelsea are not going to sell one of their youngsters on the cheap next month despite him barely featuring under Enzo Maresca.
The likes of Carney Chukwuemeka, Cesare Casadei and Deivid Washington all look set for exits in the January transfer window.
Chukwuemeka and Casadei have only played in the cup competitions this season, while Washington has not featured for the Chelsea first team at all.
It has been reported that Washington could now leave Chelsea permanently in the new year.

Chelsea demanding big money for Carney Chukwuemeka
In total, Chukwuemeka has made just five appearances in the current campaign.
Only one of those appearances was a start, while most of them have come in the Conference League.
The midfielder is clearly not an important player for Maresca, yet Chelsea are not going to let him go for nothing.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, the Blues are demanding up to £45m for Chukwuemeka.

Speaking about the 21-year-old on a stream on Playback, Jacobs said: “I would keep an eye on Milan still, who are interested in a loan with an option. And if Chelsea are to permanently sell Carney Chukwuemeka, I’m still told they want 40, 45 million all in.”
Chukwuemeka was once described as a player with “huge potential” by former Chelsea manager Graham Potter. However, partly because of injuries, he has not really got to show that at Stamford Bridge.
Who could Carney Chukwuemeka join?
The club that Jacobs mentioned, AC Milan, have been heavily linked with Chukwuemeka for a while now, so they are one possibility.
Signing players from Chelsea in the past has worked out pretty well for Milan, so bringing in Chukwuemeka could be tempting.
For example, the Italian giants bought Christian Pulisic from the Blues last year, and the winger has quickly become one of their most important players.
From Chukwuemeka’s perspective, the former Aston Villa player just needs to leave Chelsea. He has too much talent and potential to be wasting away on their bench like this.
He will be desperate to make it at a club like Chelsea, but that may not be possible having to compete against the likes of Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez for a spot in the team.
