The Friedkin Group have completed their takeover of Everton Football Club after months of work behind the scenes.
Farhad Moshiri’s time at Goodison Park has now come to a close with a new dawn being promised at Everton.
Sean Dyche and his men have some big months ahead of them but they now have the guidance of new owners who will surely breathe new life into the club.
It has not been a straightforward sale with the likes of John Textor showing interest in Everton, but going very public on his pursuit.
But it is now The Friedkin Group who own the Toffees and they have spoken for the first time since securing the keys to the club.

The Friedkin Group issue statement after Everton takeover
Now the takeover has been finalised, The Friedkin Group will be in attendance against Chelsea on the weekend at Goodison.
Speaking to Everton’s website following the takeover announcement, Dan Friedkin shared his initial thoughts now they have the keys to the club.
‘Following the completion of the takeover of Everton Football Club, I want to express my gratitude for your continued support and introduce the incoming Executive Chairman of Everton, Marc Watts,’ he said.

Everton are still expected to face PSR issues in the January transfer window despite having new wealth to fund their market.
However, the bigger picture shows the potential for big changes at Everton with the Toffees also set to move into their new stadium this summer.

The Friedkin Group need to provide Everton stability
It has been a turbulent few years on Merseyside with Everton battling relegation for a number of seasons now.
There have been plenty of issues for the Toffees to contend with, and there is plenty the Friedkins are going to have to address early on.
Already, it seems as if one question has been answered as the Friedkins are to back Kevin Thelwell at Everton over the coming transfer windows.
But due to the lingering PSR concerns, this does not seem like a quick fix on Merseyside.
The new Everton stadium has excited Jamie Carragher, but Everton fans are going to have to wait to see the financial rewards affect the club positively.
This is not going to be a quick fix at Goodison but the main thing is there is now reason for fans to be optimistic.
