**Celtic want to reunite with four-time Scottish Premiership winner and fan-favourite Kieran Tierney.**
The 27-year-old’s contract with Arsenal is due to end in the summer of 2025. The club has the option to extend this by a year, but they will not activate this clause.
Celtic are keen to lure the Scottish international back to his boyhood club. A move could be made to sign him permanently when the window opens in January or on a pre-contract to arrive in the summer.
However, it is understood clubs in the English Premier League and in Europe are also interested in signing Tierney.
The left-back was a mainstay in the Glasgow club’s academy before Ronny Deila handed him his debut against Dundee on April 22, 2015.
During Brendan Rodgers’ first stint at Parkhead, Tierney was a vital part of the back-to-back treble-winning side.
After making 170 appearances, winning eight trophies and being awarded a number of personal accolades, Arsenal bought the Scotland international for a reported £25m, Celtic’s record sale at the time.
His time with the Gunners has been troubled with injuries.
The 27-year-old did impress on the continent during a loan spell with Spanish outfit Real Sociedad, but a hamstring injury during Euro 2024 sidelined him for the start of the season.
He made his comeback in Arsenal’s Carabao Cup Quarter-Final win against Crystal Palace on Wednesday.
