Everton manager Sean Dyche is facing a nervous wait as to where his future lies amid the takeover saga.
After a turbulent start to the campaign, the previous two games have offered Everton fans some optimism for what could be to come.
Sean Dyche has now seen a number of his players return from their respective injuries as he boasts a near-full squad.
But The Friedkin Group are set to takeover Everton with Thursday now suggested as the completion day on Merseyside.
And there will be natural questions as to whether Dyche will be the man that the Friedkins view as the right fit for their project.

Sean Dyche has dealt with Everton issues behind-the-scenes
It has certainly not been a straightforward spell on Merseyside for the 53-year-old who has been restrained in the transfer markets due to PSR.
Speaking to the Liverpool Echo, Phil Jagielka has spoken about Dyche’s tenure at Everton with the Friedkins set to get the keys to Goodison.
“Sean has done a great job, no-one knows exactly what he’s had to deal with because it’s not been made common knowledge what’s gone on in his tenure, but the fact of the matter is the club isn’t where we’d like it to be,” said Jagielka.

“No-one else does it in the Premier League so how you supposed to run a squad when most of the squad are out of contract?
“It happens a lot in the Championship because there’s more turnover, with free transfers and more wheeling and dealing, but to try and compete in the best league in the world, and over half of your players don’t have a clue about their future.”
Everton News have been told Dyche and Kevin Thelwell are expected to be sacked in the New Year by the Friedkins.
But it is clear Jagielka believes the Everton boss should be given an opportunity to prove himself under the new regime.
Should the Friedkins offer Dyche a chance to prove himself?
The Friedkins are bringing exciting plans to Everton but they are aware of their restraints given the club’s current position.
With the January window opening in a couple of weeks, it could offer the new owners with the perfect opportunity to bring in a manager of their choice.
And that could be strengthened as Everton will be unable to spend big in January due to PSR and their restrictions.
Dyche has been able to keep Everton just above the relegation zone so far this season, but the new owners will surely have much bigger aspirations of the club.
Given there are only three points between them and the bottom three, Everton could find themselves in the relegation zone by the end of the weekend; that would be a damning position for Dyche.
