THE Cherries will host Manchester United’s academy in the semi final of the FA Women’s National League Plate.
The two sides will meet on Sunday, January 26 as Bournemouth continue to make history and will hope to reach the final of the competition for the first time.
Steve Cuss’s [Cherries](http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/cherries/clubnews/) have beaten Portishead Town, Worthing and Cambridge United to reach the last four, while United beat Loughborough Lightning 3-0 on Sunday to set up the clash with Bournemouth.
This is the furthest the Dorset side have ever gone in the competition, and they also matched their record progression in the FA Cup, reaching the third round before a narrow defeat to Ipswich Town last Sunday.
The Cherries are also in fine form in the league – winning nine out of nine to sit atop the National League Division One South West.
