The star in question here is Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus. The 27 year old has been in very poor form since last season. This has resulted in him losing the starting position to Kai Havertz.
Jesus had only 8 goals in all competitions last season. The story has been same this season as the 27 year old is yet to score or assist in Premier League. But, last night Jesus was very good as he scored hattrick against Crystal Palace in EFL Cup.

Jesus has been heavily linked with an exit from Arsenal next year. He is being linked to many clubs ahead of January window. Now, Fabrizio Romano has tweeted what the Arsenal boss had to say after their latest game.
“Gabriel Jesus is a big asset for us. I’m so pleased for him. It’s been a long period for him without goals, now he looked very sharp. I think it’s a great thing for him and the team that we can rely on a player of such quality” – Arteta on Jesus after his hattrick.

Jesus was voted the player of the match for his three amazing goals. In addition, he achieved some really good stats to display his high quality. Firstly, he completed 87% passes and had 5 total shots with 100% accuracy.

It will be interesting to see if Arsenal change their mind and give Jesus more chances to stay at the club. But, the 27 year old has to score more often or is very likely to be sold as Gunners are planning to sign a clinical striker.
