The Farhad Moshiri era is over at Everton. The Friedkin Group are the club's new owners.
After the Premier League followed the Football Association and the Financial Conduct Authority in ratifying the deal, a statement confirmed the deal had gone through on Thursday with the new ownership group promising a bright future for the club.
The purchase brings the curtain down on eight years of Moshiri's stewardship. The club has descended into chaos under the British-Iranian, with relegation fights on the pitch and breaches of financial regulations - leading to points deductions - off it.
