Peterborough United fans appear happy to travel in the Christmas and New Year holidays.
The club issued a ticket sales update on Thursday morning and thanked fans for their ‘tremendous support over the festive period.’ Posh are taking close to 700 fans for a Friday night League One fixture in Stockport tomorrow and have sold 508 tickets fo far for the New Year’s Day game at Burton Albion.
Posh have already sold 1,103 tickets for the League One match at Wrexham on January 4 and ticket sales for the Thursday night FA Cup tie at Everton were on 1,687 at lunchtime today.
Stockport tickets go off sale at 10am on Friday morning. Burton tickets go off sale after the home game with Barnsley on December 29. Posh expect the Wrexham tickets to sell out. They had a total allocation of 1,284.
Everton tickets are on sale now to any fan with 300 priority points or more. From 10am on Friday fans with 100 priority points or more can purchase and from 10am on Monday (December 23) they go on general sale. Posh have a total allocation of 2,976 for the FA Cup tie.
