There are now new owners at Everton who are ready to take the club forward after years of struggles under Farhad Moshiri.
On Thursday, it was announced The Friedkin Group had completed their takeover of Everton after months of negotiations.
Dan Friedkin has spoken to Everton fans of his joy and excitement as the American billionaire is set to take on another football club.
Exciting times are seemingly ahead for those on Merseyside with the new owners looking to return the club to the top half of the table.
But who are the winners and who are the losers from the takeover at Goodison Park?

Kevin Thelwell – winner
Despite the speculation, it seems as if The Friedkin Group are to back Kevin Thelwell in the coming transfer windows.
Thelwell has been praised as a well-respected figure by some across the Premier League, despite Everton’s struggles.
And it looks as if he is now set to be handed a real opportunity to prove himself with the money being invested by the new owners.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
The Friedkins have already laid out the January transfer budget, but the Toffees may be restricted by PSR once again.
Sean Dyche – loser
Thelwell may have the backing of the Everton owners, but it is not certain Sean Dyche does.
It has already been suggested the Friedkins are eyeing David Moyes to potentially replace the 53-year-old at Goodison Park.
Results have improved of late for Dyche, so there could be some time offered to the Everton boss, but it feels like a matter of time until the new owners look for a manager of their choice.
Dyche’s future at Everton remains uncertain, with a difficult game against Chelsea set to open the new chapter at the club on Sunday.
Jordan Pickford – winner
For years, it could be suggested, Jordan Pickford has single-handedly kept Everton in the Premier League with his displays between the sticks.
Despite playing for one of the poorest sides in the league, Pickford has maintained his status as England’s number one.
Pickford wowed the Arsenal fans last weekend with his stunning display.
The takeover will provide optimism for much improved transfer windows to come which could help the club climb back up the table.
And this could well mean Pickford does not have to consider leaving the club he has spent seven years at to play at a higher level.
Seamus Coleman – loser
There are a number of Everton players coming to the end of their contracts and Seamus Coleman is one of them.
After making 424 appearances for the club, Coleman could well leave Everton just as the Friedkins get their feet under the table.
Coleman has returned from injury, but Ashley Young’s recent form is keeping him out of the starting XI.
The 36-year-old has seen a lot unfold at Everton, so it would be a huge shame to see such a servant for the club leave just as the new chapter begins.
