Player trying to ignore rumours as Nottingham Forest circle despite DoF putting all players up for sale

Real Valladolid forward Raúl Moro has insisted he’s ignoring any rumours about his future, despite Nottingham Forest reportedly circling a potential transfer.

[Estadio Deportivo](https://www.estadiodeportivo.com/futbol/real-valladolid/raul-moro-tajante-sobre-futuro-20241219-475259.html) cover comments from the 22-year-old today as he insists his focus is firmly on matters on the pitch.

Estadio report that Moro has been ‘in the spotlight’ at Nottingham Forest of late, with various reports stating that they are seriously considering a move for him.

Moro has been one of the outstanding performers for Valladolid this season, ‘shining with his own light’ despite the club’s struggles to date.

These performances have not gone unnoticed, and they say it is ‘not surprising’ that clubs, such as Nottingham Forest, are now circling.

They’ve even been encouraged to make their moves as sports director Domingo Catoira recently confirmed that Valladolid will listen to offers for any players in the squad. That could be interpreted by some as an open door to signing stars like Moro.

The striker isn’t getting involved in any rumours about Nottingham Forest or other suitors, though, and focusing on improving matters on the pitch for himself and Valladolid.

“I try to isolate myself and I haven’t seen much; I’m focused on finishing the year here and doing well, because if you don’t do well at your club, those things will never come and my mentality is to do well here and then we’ll see,” he said.

“I still have a lot of room for improvement; When you feel loved in a place and you feel good, when nothing fails around you, the football that a player has ends up coming out.

“Since I arrived at Valladolid I have felt upward, with more and more confidence and weight and that is good for a player and that is why I think I can continue improving.”
