Arsenal legend Ian Wright has urged his former club to make a move for Barcelona midfielder Dani Olmo in January. The Spaniard faces an uncertain future at Camp Nou with the Blaugrana potentially being forced to part ways with him.
Olmo is temporarily registered with Barcelona having arrived in the summer in a reported €55 million deal from RB Leipzig. However, his temporary registration expires this month which means that Hansi Flick's side must find a way to register him permanently.
However, Barca's difficult situation means that they might struggle to find a way to register the 26-year-old. Otherwise, they will have to part ways with Olmo, who would effectively become a free agent, in January.

Ian Wright has urged Arsenal to pounce on the situation and bring the Spain international to the Emirates. He compared the situation to that of now Gunners skipper Martin Odegaard who struggled to get his opportunity to shine in a Real Madrid shirt. The former England striker said, as quoted by TBR Football:
“He’s got the vibe for me, Dani Olmo, that he needs a home. He needs a home, like how we gave Martin Odegaard. You need a home, Dani. Have you seen what’s happened with Martin Odegaard? He needs a home. Come to Arsenal. I’m telling you, you are exactly what we need, Dani."
Olmo has been pretty impressive for Barcelona following his summer switch to his boyhood club. He has scored six goals and provided one assist in 14 appearances across competitions for Hansi Flick's side.
Arsenal keen on signing Barcelona attacker: Reports
Arsenal are reportedly plotting a move for in-form Barcelona attacker Raphinha as they look to take advantage of the Catalan giants' financial woes. As claimed by TBR Football, the Gunners have a long-term interest in the Brazilian who has been red-hot form this season.
The report suggests that Barca could be forced to sell some of their best players to recover from the financial mess they find themselves in. Arsenal believe that they can convince La Blaugrana with an offer for Raphinha who has scored 17 goals and provided 10 assists in 24 games this season.
Apart from the Gunners, Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester City are all reportedly keen on the former Leeds United winger. Raphinha joined Barcelona in 2022 in a reported £55 million deal from Leeds United and was pretty underwhelming before this season.
