Barcelona star Ferran Torres has on Thursday moved to confirm his full faith in the abilities of Hansi Flick’s side to get their form back on track.
Recent weeks, of course, have proven to be of an altogether challenging nature for Barcelona.
After kickstarting the season like a house on fire, the Blaugrana have been brought crashing firmly back down to earth, courtesy of an alarming run of domestic results.
All told, across their last six La Liga outings, Flick’s men have managed to piece together a haul of just five points.
With such woes comes inevitable outside criticism, with Barcelona, after at one point surging clear, now boasting only joint-ownership of top spot in Spain’s top-flight.
Speaking to the media on Thursday, it therefore came as little surprise when the subject of his side’s dip in form was put to the aforementioned Ferran Torres.
And, during an exchange with TV3, as cited by **[Mundo Deportivo](https://www.mundodeportivo.com/futbol/fc-barcelona/20241219/1002374210/ferran-torres-plena-confianza-nuestro-mejor-nivel-imparables.html)**, frontman Ferran made use of the opportunity to send a defiant message to Barca’s many doubters:
“We are people who are prepared for pressure. We are also used to the fact that, if we don’t get a result, there will be a certain amount of nervousness. But we are very calm and confident.
“A season is like a marathon, a long-distance race and during the race there may be times when we are not at our best level but we have to stay calm because we are just as good as when we were in the very good dynamic. From there, we have to try to find our best level and when we are like that, we are unstoppable.”
