Miguel Almiron is edging ever closer to a Newcastle United exit after opting to stay put in the summer only to be frozen out of the side by Eddie Howe.
Almiron's appearances this season have been few and far between and now it is being reported that the Paraguayan is facing an exit from the club in 2025.
It came out today that three Premier League clubs are looking at the possibility of a loan move for Miggy in January with Marseille and Stuttgart also keen on the 30-year-old.
Since then, though, another report has revealed that Charlotte FC remain at the table after failing with a bid to take Miggy back to the MLS in the summer.

Miguel Almiron's options are increasing heading into January
Give Me Sport are reporting that Charlotte are still in talks over a move for Almiron that could transpire in the January window.
In the summer the clubs were in talks over a move with Miggy keen to return to the USA, but Newcastle were demanding more money than the MLS outfit could afford.
However, Charlotte are now apparently confident that they have what it takes to get the deal done.

Miguel Almiron has rejected a move to Saudi Arabia but could be open to a return to the MLS
Almiron has already rejected a move to Saudi Arabia with Al-Shabab, but was reportedly up for returning to America, which is likely what he's told Charlotte and that's why they've yet to walk away.
Charlotte have the MLS discovery rights for Almiron, meaning they are the only MLS side who can negotiate for him as things stand, however, there is now the added wrinkle of the three Premier League sides who are keen on his services.
Wherever he ends up, it is looking increasingly likely that Almiron will leave Newcastle in January, it just remains to be seen whether it's a temporary or permanent move.
