Simon Jordan has admitted there is something which he has heard about The Friedkin Group which should encourage the Everton fans.
On Thursday morning, The Friedkin Group were announced as the new owners at Everton following years of misery under Farhad Moshiri.
Everton fans reacted to the takeover news with the promise of a fresh beginning being offered on Merseyside.
However, this is only the start for the work needing to be done to drag Everton out of the relegation battle and back where they belong.
With Sean Dyche’s side slumped at the foot end of the table, there is already something which should encourage Everton fans about their new owners.

The Friedkin Group have already impressed at Everton
It was the Friedkins who won the battle for Everton, but they were not the only interested party over the last year and a half.
John Textor came incredibly close to buying Everton earlier this year but was ultimately left with egg on his face after his public interviews.
Speaking on TalkSPORT on Thursday, Simon Jordan has shared what George Downing admitted was so impressive about the Friedkins during their talks with the club.

“What these guys are is they are very well-heeled. The Friedkin family are very, very significantly wealthy from the ownership of Chrysler dealerships all around America,” he said.
“When my friend George Downing was in there he was very impressed with what they were doing, the debt structuring.
“Moshiri’s legacy will be a challenging period, the most important thing for Everton is that he delivered the principles of a new stadium and the funding was often done by other people.”
The Friedkin Group impressed Everton with their approach to the takeover negotiations, which was much more subdued than their competitors.
And that clearly worked in their favour as they had very few issues in their process of getting the keys to the club.
Simon Jordan reacted to The Friedkin Group’s Everton statement
Dan Friedkin shared his excitement to Everton fans in a public statement made shortly after the takeover was confirmed.
However, Jordan has admitted there is not a great deal which can be taken from the statement which was probably very similar when they took over at AS Roma.
I would imagine, if one were to look back over the acquisition of Roma, it might be a cut and paste [statement[ from what was said there,” said Jordan.
“Because these are the staple diets of what football club fans and supporters of a team will want to hear. So I don’t think there’s anything particularly insightful in that.”
The Friedkins were left furious with Roma last weekend after their recent loss to Como and that is something they may have to get used to for a while with the Toffees.
