Arsenal have made the decision to part ways with Kieran Tierney in January or at the end of the campaign, according to David Ornstein.
The Scotland international made his first appearance for the Gunners since August 2023 against Crystal Palace on Wednesday night.
He had a good outing for an hour before he was substituted with cramp.
Immediately after the game, Ornstein revealed that Arsenal have decided to offload Tierney and won't be extending his current deal.
His present contract expires in June next year, and the Gunners have opted against triggering an extension clause for another 12 months.
Arsenal are open to offloading Tierney for a nominal fee next month, but that could depend on the defender accepting a big pay-cut.
Celtic are prepared to re-sign their former graduate on a permanent basis, but may have to wait until the summer if he does not compensate.
Tierney has also been linked with several clubs in Italy in the past and we won't be surprised if some of them revive their interest.
