Carney Chukwuemeka’s Chelsea career could be over
Of the players who started in the tough circumstances that night, Chelsea fans were delighted to see Carney Chukwuemeka in the starting side for the first time this season.
However, the Englishman is nowhere to be seen in the matchday squad tonight, and reports surrounding his future could spell danger for his spell at Stamford Bridge.
It has frequently been reported that a number of sides around Europe are keen on signing Chukwuemeka, although the Blues will not want to part ways for a small amount of money.
It was reported that Chelsea are holding out for £45m to part ways with Chukwuemeka, which would be more than double the price they paid to bring him in from Aston Villa.
