Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado says his team know what they must do to improve ahead of Saturday’s match with Atletico Madrid.
Hansi Flick’s side come into the game after a [disappointing defeat to Leganes last time out](https://www.barcablaugranes.com/2024/12/15/24320180/barcelona-leganes-la-liga-final-score-match-report-recap-reactions) in La Liga that has allowed Atletico to move level on points with the Catalans.
Casado says Barcelona know what they need to do on Saturday to take all three points and wants his team to “at least” match Atletico’s intensity.
> “We want to change the negative dynamic we have at home. We have seen what we need to improve and we know what we have to do to win.
>
> “We know that Atlético is a team that plays with a lot of intensity and we have to at least match it,” he told the media.
The Barcelona youngster also spoke about how it’s been a very special season for him personally so far after breaking into the first team.
> “This season I have experienced very special moments. Firstly, reaching the first team was always a dream I had since I was little. There have been other very nice moments such as the victories against Bayern and Real Madrid,” he added.
>
> “It’s a very long process. I’ve been playing football all my life and there are times when it feels closer and other times when it feels further away. The most important thing is to have confidence in yourself, believe that you can make it and make the maximum effort to achieve it.”
Casado is expected to start again on Saturday night in midfield in what is the team’s last match of the calendar year.
