Everton consider £100k bid for Arsenal midfielder

With Everton’s takeover finalised, the club is reportedly preparing to act decisively in the upcoming transfer window, including moves to strengthen their women’s team.

Among their targets is Arsenal midfielder Kathrine Kuhl, with sources suggesting the Toffees are considering a £100,000 bid for the Danish international.

Kuhl joined Arsenal in January 2023 from Danish side FC Nordsjælland as one of Europe’s brightest young talents. The midfielder was brought in to provide depth and creativity in the middle of the park, and her technical ability quickly impressed the coaching staff.

However, despite her potential, Kuhl has struggled to secure regular minutes in a competitive Arsenal squad packed with established stars.

The Gunners remain firm admirers of Kuhl’s ability, but they are reportedly open to both loan and permanent offers, recognising the 21-year-old’s need for consistent game time.

Daily Cannon‘s Arsenal women expert said of the report, “Kuhl never plays with us, she needs to go. Arsenal have just slowed down her development.”

For Everton, securing Kuhl would signal their intent to climb the Women’s Super League table, using the resources from their new ownership to strengthen a squad in need of reinforcements.

It remains to be seen whether Arsenal will sanction a move, but the Toffees appear ready to capitalise on the chance to sign one of the WSL’s most promising young midfielders.
