Owner Evangelos Marinakis is driving Nottingham Forest on to even greater heights after a fine start to the Premier League season.
Head coach Nuno Espirito Santo says the Greek businessman continues to push the Reds. Moreover, he relishes the challenge being set.
Marinakis is an ambitious man and spoke about his “big dreams” for Forest earlier this year. A few months down the line, the club sit fourth in the table ahead of Saturday’s trip to face Brentford (3pm kick-off) and a push for European football is a distinct possibility.
“We have an owner who wants more and keeps pushing us. And we have to go,” Nuno said in his pre-match press conference. “It’s good. This is life.
“It’s life also when you are in a bad situation. When you are in a good situation you cannot ignore that things can change and you have to be ready for it.
“This is how I think and what I try to transmit to all the players. Things don’t come by themselves; everybody has to work very hard to achieve them.”

Premier League
Today (Friday) marks one year since Nuno took charge at the City Ground. He had several challenges to contend with last season as he steered the Reds to safety despite the club being hit with a points deduction for breaching financial rules.
Asked if he could have predicted such a turnaround this season, with his team now fighting at the opposite end of the table, he said: “You cannot do predictions. You never know what is going to happen.
“It was mentioned to me that it is one year since we joined. I’m happy. We are working and trying to do something. We are good.”
