Millwall winger Romain Esse is on the radar of Nottingham Forest, as detailed in a report by The Telegraph.
Millwall could face a battle to keep hold of the attacker in the future amid attention from the Premier League. He is under contract at The Den until the summer of 2026 meaning his current club are under no pressure to sell him just yet.

Esse, 19, has become a key player for the Lions over recent times and has a bright future ahead of him in the game. He has made 21 appearances in all competitions for them this season, 19 of which have come in the Championship, and he has chipped in with four goals and one assist.
According to The Telegraph, Nottingham Forest are ‘long-term’ admirers of the youngster, whilst fellow top flight club Crystal Palace are also keen. The Reds are currently sat in 4th place in the table.
Esse has been on the books at Millwall for his whole career to date and has risen up through their academy ranks.
He was a regular for the Lions at various different youth levels before breaking into the senior picture.

Esse penned his first professional deal in January 2023. At the time, the club’s Director of Football Steve Gallen said: “Signing Romain on a multi-year contract is really big business by the club. It shows what we are trying to achieve.
“Romain has come through the Academy and is a flagbearer for all the young players at the football club. Everyone from the Under 9s upwards, all the way to the Under 21s, can look at him and believe they can rise through the ranks too.
“I’m really pleased he has committed to sticking with us. I’d like to thank James Berylson and Neil Harris, who have been supportive all the way through.”
