Barcelona 23-year-old forward clear about his future amid La Liga rivals’ interest

As we get closer and closer to the January transfer window, the priority objective for FC Barcelona is the re-registration of Dani Olmo and Pau Victor for the second half of the season.

With the summer arrivals registered only until December 31, that too by using the space created by the long-term injury to Andreas Christensen, Barça need to enroll the pair again for the next half of the campaign.

While there are some concerns about the situation, Barça are working hard to ensure Olmo and Victor’s registration and are exploring various avenues, including obtaining a precautionary measure from the courts.

Pau Victor clear he wants to stay

Amidst this, as reports indicated earlier this week, Real Betis have shown an interest in Pau Victor, given his registration situation and lack of minutes under Hansi Flick.

However, according to Mundo Deportivo, Victor is aware of Real Betis’ interest ahead of the upcoming winter market, but it is an option he is not considering at this time as he is still thinking about his future at Barcelona.

The forward is convinced that Barça will register him and that he will stay for the entire season. As of now, the 23-year-old is focused on the match against Atletico Madrid this weekend.

The former Girona ace, who excelled on loan with Barça Atletic last season, not only does not worry about his future at the club but is also convinced that he will get more playing time in the upcoming matches.

As far as the club is concerned, Barcelona are aware of the interest in Victor from Real Betis but are not considering his departure under any circumstances.

The management insists that they do not have any plans to let the attacker go. The squad is not large, and they rely on all the players.
