Last summer Luis Diaz was linked to Barcelona on multiple occasions, but it quickly became apparent that he was outwith Barcelona’s price range. However rumours about the Colombian’s future have resurfaced due to his contract situation.
Diaz will go into the final year of his contract next summer at Liverpool, and seemingly making any advances is proving difficult. The Colombian is keen for a much larger salary, and Liverpool are yet to offer him that.

According to Antena 2, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are the two sides that would be most interested in Diaz, while MD add AC Milan to the fold. The Catalan giants would be his preferred destination out of the three though – he would also fit Hansi Flick’s approach.
Barcelona are reportedly still looking at the left-wing position for next summer, following a failed attempt to sign Nico Williams. Diaz was rumoured to be the preferred choice of Sporting Director Deco, but as was the case with Williams, Barcelona need their finances to improve before they can think about making a move.
