Leicester City manager Ruud van Nistelrooy addressed the media on Friday ahead of their home clash against Wolves.
In a relegation six-pointer at the bottom of the Premier League table, Leicester will be looking to bounce back from their 4-0 thrashing at the hands of Newcastle.
Ruud van Nistelrooy’s men had no answer to the resurgent Magpies, who handed the Dutchman his first defeat in charge of the Foxes.
Remarkably, the result wasn’t the biggest concern from that game, as goalkeeper Mads Hermansen went off with an injury at half-time and was replaced by Danny Ward.
Now, van Nistelrooy has issued an update on the towering Dane, along with midfield duo Wilfred Ndidi and Harry Winks.

Ruud van Nistelrooy shares injury update on Harry Winks, Wilfred Ndidi and Mads Hermansen
Leicester were without some of their key stars against Newcastle, including the suspended Boubakary Soumare, who will return this weekend, but also Winks and Ndidi.
Winks suffered a groin injury against Chelsea and has missed the last four matches while Ndidi sustained a hamstring problem in the draw at home to Brighton.
While Winks returned to Leicester training this week, his Nigerian teammate is expected to be out for another couple of weeks.

Leicester will hope that Hermansen can start as his deputy Ward didn’t cover himself in glory against Newcastle.
Winks returning is a huge boost for Leicester
Last weekend, van Nistelrooy was forced into starting Hamza Choudhury and Oliver Skipp as a double pivot at St James’ Park.
The Foxes suffered as a result, with Choudhury and Skipp taking 60 minutes to make a tackle between them while struggling to deal with the powerful Bruno Guimaraes, Sandro Tonali and Joelinton.
Now, with Winks fit and available once more, the Leicester manager will be tempted to throw the 28-year-old straight back into the starting lineup.
As highlighted by FBref, the former Tottenham star ranks in the top 11% of midfielders across Europe for assists per 90.
Indeed, the Englishman can offer van Nistelrooy quality ball-playing attributes from deep, helping his side build attacks and ultimately carving through the Wolves’ back line.
