The festive season schedule is packed, and clubs like Liverpool, Arsenal, and Chelsea might have to travel long distances for games. All three are in the Premier League title race, and with traveling likely to add to fatigue, the busy festive period will bring some cause for concern for fans.

According to a report from Grosvenor Sport (via The Daily Mail), Liverpool are set to travel the most miles for their Premier League games this period. They have just one league match at home - their Boxing Day clash against Leicester City, which will take place at Anfield.

However, they will have to travel to New White Hart Lane in north London to face Tottenham Hotspur on December 22. Their final match in 2024 will see them return to the capital city, where they will face West Ham United at the London Stadium on December 29. This will see the Reds travel a total of 711.57 miles in the festive period.

Chelsea have to travel to Merseyside, where they face Everton at Goodison Park on December 22. Their Boxing Day clash against Fulham will take place at Stamford Bridge, while they will travel to Portman Road to face Ipswich Town for their final game of the year (December 30). They will rack up a total travel distance of 496.94 miles until the end of the year.

Arsenal have one of the fewest miles to travel this festive period. They have just one away match until the end of the year, as they travel to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace on December 21. Because the stadium is in London, they only have to travel 21.75 miles. Arsenal's next match against Ipswich on December 27 will take place in their home - the Emirates Stadium.

The club with the fewest miles to travel is Fulham. The Cottagers have just one away match against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Boxing Day. With the two clubs just 2.79 miles apart, Fulham will barely spend any time on the road.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool continue their chase for the Premier League title

Liverpool are currently seated at the top of the Premier League table with 11 wins from 15 games. They have racked up 36 points as the season heads towards its mid-point, and they have a game in hand over their competitive rivals.

They are just two points ahead of Chelsea, who sit in second place, having won 10 games out of 16. The Blues sit firmly in the title race, despite Enzo Maresca claiming that they are not focused on winning the Premier League.

Arsenal sit in third, with eight wins out of 16 games. They have 30 points, six points behind Liverpool in pole position, and four points behind their London rivals.
