According to a report from [**L’Équipe**](https://kiosque.lequipe.fr/data/943/reader/reader.html#!preferred/0/package/943/pub/943/page/8), PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma (25) is set to miss the holders’ Coupe de France tie against Lens on Sunday. The Italian international stopper has been deemed unavailable after sustaining injury in Les Parisiens’ 4-2 victory against Monaco.
Donnarumma was forced off after 22 minutes against Les Monégasques after a big collision with Côte d’Ivoire international Wilfried Singo. The 25-year-old suffered multiple wounds and trauma to his right cheek following the coming together and required stitches.
The former Milan player has, as a result, been ruled out of contention for the rest of this year. The French capital club’s final match of the year is against the Racing club. Whilst PSG are not set to play again in France until the 11th of January at the earliest against Saint Étienne, no timeframe has been placed on Donnarumma’s return, with his length of absence unknown. He should also miss the Trophée des Champions against Monaco.
