**West Ham players are beginning to have belief in the methods and tactics of Julen Lopetegui, its been reported by ExWHUEmployee.**
It has been a significant period of change in east London over the last 6 months, with the club bringing in a host of new players to pave the way for a new era under Lopetegui, who joined the club as Head Coach in the summer to work alongside Tim Steidten.
The transition though has been far from smooth sailing, with the club currently occupying 14th place in the Premier League, as hopes of European football next season continue to dwindle while frustration grows amongst the fan base.
Although it’s not been the campaign so far many were hoping for or expecting, recent results and performances have suggested that things maybe turning under Lopetegui, with Ex reporting that there is now a feeling amongst the players of belief in what the Spaniard is trying to implement at West Ham.
Reporting on The West Ham Way Podcast, club insider Ex advised that despite much early apprehension and resistance within the squad, that is now turning into a more positive mindset, with hope that the season is set to get on track as we reach the midway point.
“There is a real growing sense at the club now that the players as a collective are starting to believe in Lopetegui and his team,” stated Ex. “Its not been a great start to life for the Head Coach, but we understand that the players are really buying into his system and are supporting him in wanting to make it a success.
“This belief within the squad appears to be evident on recent performances, as although not perfect, but there are clear signs of improvement as we look to build on some positive results of late.”
