Everton’s new chapter has now started with a change of ownership on Merseyside following the announcement on Thursday.
The hard work is now set to begin, though, for The Friedkin Group who have taken on a struggling Everton side.
Sean Dyche has been tipped to remain until the end of the season by Jamie Carragher who thinks the Friedkins should stick with their current set up.
However, it is not just some of the club’s coaching staff which are set to see their contracts expire at the end of the term.
A number of Everton players could depart on a free transfer this summer which has left the new owners with some interesting decisions to make.

Whatever has happened in recent years, it has not worked out for Everton with the Toffees facing regular relegation battles over the years.
Carragher slammed Dyche for not using his new signings from the summer, but that just highlights the importance of changing up this squad.
And considering there are 13 players out of contract this summer there is certainly an opportunity to make some huge changes at the club.
All 13 Everton players out of contract in 2025
The Friedkins are set to back Kevin Thelwell – who is also out of contract next summer – as the January window opens its doors in a matter of days.
Players out of contract in the summer will be free to sign a pre-contract agreement with a foreign club next month.
And there are a considerable number of players at risk of leaving for free:
Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Abdoulaye Doucoure
Michael Keane
Idrissa Gueye
Joao Virginia
Ashley Young
Seamus Coleman
Asmir Begovic
Jack Harrison (loan)
Orel Mangala (loan)
Jesper Lindstrom (loan)
Armando Broja (loan)
Calvert-Lewin has interest from Juventus as he has failed to commit to a new deal at Everton, but there are other regular starters also at risk.
There may well be a few who fans would like to stay around, however, perhaps this is the fresh start which the Toffees require under their new ownership.
