Pep Guardiola is not expecting his Manchester City squad tot get any smaller next month.
The Blues are under increasing pressure to spend in the January window to try and get the team out of an unprecedented slump. Guardiola has not been able to find a solution to a run of 11 games that has seen eight defeats and just one victory, with questions over an ageing squad that is fighting to prove they can still challenge for trophies.
With the future of senior players uncertain, Kevin De Bruyne and Kyle Walker are among the stars who have been linked with an exit in January. There are also young players such as James McAtee who could want a move - temporary or permanent - to play more minutes.

Guardiola does not think there will anyone leaving next month though as he plans to run the rule over the squad for the rest of the season. City's recruitment team and sporting director Txiki Begiristain will need to be working on the rebuilding of the squad already, but the manager is not yet willing to write anyone in his squad out.
"It will be at the end of the season. It depends on how all of us perform," he said. "Now is not a reality, we will see the situation at the end of the season."
City could move to fourth on Saturday with a win at Aston Villa before Nottingham Forest travel to Brentford, although defeat at Villa Park will see them tumble further down the table.
