Dele Alli has departed Everton after training with the club.
Dele Alli has confirmed his exit from Everton.
The midfielder was released by the Toffees at the end of his contract in the summer. But he was training with the Blues for several months in a bid to gain full fitness. Dele has not made a first-team outing since April 2023 when on loan with Besikas.
Dele joined Everton from Tottenham in January 2022. He made a total of 13 appearances for the Toffees yet has endured injury frustrations in the past 18 months. Posting on Instagram, the ex-England international thanked Everton for all of the support they have given him.
In reply, the club posted: “Good luck, Dele. Everyone at Everton wishes you all the best for the future.”
