Sean Dyche has spoken to the media for the very first time since Everton’s takeover was announced on Thursday morning.
Everton kick off life under The Friedkin Group with a game on Sunday at Goodison Park, which comes amid their recently improved form.
The Friedkins will be in attendance for Everton’s game against Chelsea but it is not expected Dan Friedkin will be there.
One man who is set to be in attendance is Sean Dyche as he will lead the Toffees out for their first game under the new regime.
However, questions will remain over his future after a turbulent start to the campaign with the Blues slumped down in 16th place.

Sean Dyche shares what Marc Watts said in Everton meeting
On Friday morning, Marc Watts met with Dyche at Finch Farm in an introductory meeting between the staff and the new ownership.
But there will be questions as to whether Dyche is going to be the man to take Everton forward under the vision of the new owners.

Speaking on Friday afternoon in his pre-Chelsea press conference, Dyche provided a response on his future following the takeover announcement.
“They’re fully supportive of me, the staff, the team going forwards,” said Dyche following his meeting with Watts.
“I haven’t really asked them for too much. He was really just asking questions about the feel of what I’ve learnt in my time and the overall feeling of the club. The thing which we can do going forward.
“Mostly, on the pitch stuff they’re supportive of that and he’s made it clear they’re supportive of that.”
Simon Jordan has been impressed with The Friedkin Group after being told of their impeccable work behind-the-scenes in clearing the club’s debt.
And it seems they are set to provide their initial support in maintaining some stability at the club by keeping the same coaching staff around.
Everton CEO expects club to fight on the pitch
Dan Friedkin shared delight in taking over Everton shortly after the announcement on Thursday.
Change is being promised at Goodison and that quickly came as Watts was appointed as Everton’s CEO following the takeover.
And he spoke to the club’s website about the club’s struggles on the pitch with the Blues sitting just outside of the bottom three.
“On the pitch, we have a lot still to fight for this season and our energies are now focused on maximising the remaining time to drive results,” he said.
With the new owners wanting to stabilize the club, it will be intriguing to see whether a decision is made before the January window on Dyche’s future.
After all, the Friedkins have eyed David Moyes as a potential successor for the current Everton boss.
