Chelsea run out of patience with Mudryk and choose replacement

Chelsea team manager Enzo Maresca and co-owner supremo Todd Boehly are said to have 'run out of patience' with winger Mykhailo Mudryk. The Ukrainian has drastically underwhelmed and caused a few problems for the west London outfit during his spell. The latest, an accusation of doping, should be the final nail in Mudryk's CFC coffin if proven too.

However, even if the speedster didn't cheat by intentionally taking banned substances, he should arguably be put up for sale anyway. With the January transfer market opening very soon, a loan is alternatively plausibly on the cards for the man from Ukraine. If we choose to trust rumours emanating from Spain, a destination which is not always trustworthy, Chels recruitment chiefs have their eye on one specific target.

And I am positive the Blues fan base will love this one! Chelsea are apparently monitoring Barcelona wingman Raphinha to be the 23-year-old's successor. Is Mudryk likely to leave Stamford Bridge soon? Is that a good idea for CFC in general? Is Raphinha a realistic target considering the Blaugrana's pull and history? And would the Brazilian be an ideal acquisition for the Fulham Road outfit? Let's discuss it.

Mykhailo Mudryk out?

Sky Sports suggest the Blues attacker has been 'provisionally suspended' because of an 'an adverse finding' in his specimen. Naturally we must wait for results before passing judgment on Mudryk. Though the club will make plans behind the scenes.

Raphinha in at Chelsea?

Following incredible form this season, one journalist labelled the 28-year-old "Europe's best player" at the moment. High praise indeed. Would CFC benefit from Raphinha? Sure, they definitely could.

"It seems that Maresca and Boehly may finally be running out of patience with the winger and according to Spanish reports in recent days, Chelsea are said to be lining up Barcelona winger Raphinha as Mudryk's replacement."

Although, one space does need to open up for the Brazil international. The hypothetical exit of Mudryk is possibly a blessing in disguise if you ask me. Raphinha might be a revelation, albeit an unlikely arrival.
