Reports Fiorentina targeting Calvert-Lewin in January
Calvert-Lewin has been on Everton’s books since 2016, but his contract is due to expire at the end of the 2024-25 campaign and does not look likely to renew his deal as things stand.
While Fiorentina could attempt to sign him as a free agent in the second half of the 2024-25 season, Gianluca Di Marzio suggests that La Viola are looking at a potential deal that would bring the Englishman to Florence in January.
The January transfer window will open on January 2 in Serie A and will close at midnight on February 3.

Calvert-Lewin’s most productive years in the Premier League came under Italian guidance when Carlo Ancelotti was at the helm at Goodison Park. The striker hit 13 league goals from 26 appearances in 2019-20, and improved for a tally of 16 from 33 outings the following year.
He is also well acquainted with Fiorentina’s current starting striker, Moise Kean, who spent the years between 2019 and 2023 on Everton’s books, although he did spend three of those seasons out on loan with Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus.
