West Ham won’t entertain offers of less than £100m for Mohammed Kudus during the January transfer window, according to reports.
Claret & Hugh’s Sean Whetstone says there is no reason for the Hammers to accept a lower fee as they would need to invest the money back into the playing squad.
Supporters on X are split on whether Kudus’s price tag is justified. Some believe that his performances this season mean that the club won’t get bids anywhere near that figure anyway while others feel that they shouldn’t sell their best players at any price:

£100m, for Kudus?
Wow!
I'd sell him in a heartbeat for anywhere near that, he is not a £100m player imo!⚒

Should never sell him at all IMO. Why sell our good players when we need them. If they weren’t good other clubs wouldn’t want them. Difficult to replace him I think and need to do everything to keep him #Kudus ⚒🇬🇭

He's actually in my opinion very replaceable and if we can get 85m for him it's a no brainer given the work that needs to be done in central midfield and upfront.

I thought he had an 85 mill release fee?

Kudus does have plenty of suitors
Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and even Newcastle have been named as clubs who hold an interest in the Ghanaian international.
However, no club has so far made an official bid for Kudus, and that is unlikely to change in January if West Ham maintain their current asking price.
West Ham will have to accept a lower fee next summer
There is a release clause in Kudus’s contract but it can only be activated at the end of the season. The Irons would have to accept an offer if it matches the £85m buyout fee.
However, the 24-year-old’s displays between now and May will determine whether any team is willing to pay that much for him.
