22-year-old star Noni Madueke ruled Chelseaout of the Premier League title race in an interview. Although he did the same with a smile. The Blues are firing on all cylinders under Enzo Maresca. They have done a stellar job so far this season. They are in 2nd place in the league table. At the same time, they managed to clear the league phase of the UEFA Europa Conference League with a 100% record as table toppers. Many also back them to go all the way through in the tournament. Moreover, most of their players are growing and in-form players are performing consistently. The London-based club are really having a great time so far this campaign.
Noni Madueke makes Chelsea judgment
In a recent interview, the forward was asked if the Blues are really in a title race. For context, the Blues are currently just 2 points Liverpoolwho have a game in hand. At the same time, they are 4 points clear of third-placed London-rivals Arsenal. So the question is pretty valid. And the more Chelsea stay at the top, more such questions will arise. But the 22-year-old was quick to smile off the same. He would suggest that the players are competing with themselves to try and be better every day.
Are Chelsea in a Title Race?
"I don't even know what that is, the race hasn't even started yet, it's only December".
"We're competing with ourselves to try and improve and be better everyday".

What does it mean for the Blues?
The players and the manager have a great attitude. Moreover, their expectations are very realistic. If they do manage to secure the title, well and truly good. But they know that they can be better and do better too. Noni Madueke himself is a prime example of the same. He has been in great run of form this season. As per transfermarkt, he has 10 goal contributions in 19 appearances for the Blues. If Chelsea keep on doing more of the same and don’t focus on any unnecessary comparisons, they will surely land some silverware in the near future.
