Jadon Sancho has echoed Arsenal icon Ian Wright's thoughts on the current criticism under-fire Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford is receiving. The English attacker's Red Devils career is in huge doubt.
Rashford sent tongues wagging in the week when he suggested he's looking for a new challenge. This was interpreted as the 27-year-old pushing to leave Old Trafford after he was dropped from Ruben Amorim's squad.
Wright, who got his break with the Gunners in his late twenties, highlighted this while defending Rashford. He wrote on Instagram:
"I got to Arsenal at 28, but you expect ME to write off someone with the ability Marcus has at 27!!!! So many of you are desperate to see these young people fail so that you can say you were right! You would take 1% of the career Marcus has had!"

The Daily Mail reports that the Gunners hold tentative interest in Rashford but aren't expected to pursue him. This might prove costly as Jadon Sancho's move to Chelsea has highlighted how such a talent underperforming at United can excel elsewhere.
Rashford is one of Europe's most celebrated attackers when in form, hitting a career-best 30 goals and nine assists in 56 games two seasons ago. He's floundered this term with just seven goals and three assists in 24 games across competitions.
Sancho struggled throughout his spell at United, managing 12 goals and six assists in 83 games across competitions. He's been reborn in west London, starring in games such as a 4-3 win over Tottenham Hotspur.
