An insight into the current mindset of Barcelona star Pau Víctor has on Friday come to the fore online.
The name of frontman Víctor has of course emerged as a prominent one in Catalunya’s capital over the course of recent days.
This comes after word was forthcoming that the 23-year-old – not yet registered for the 2nd half of the La Liga campaign – is garnering interest from Real Betis ahead of the January transfer window.
The brass at the Estadio Benito Villamarín are understood to be keen to bring Víctor in on loan for a six-month spell.
If the player himself has anything to do with it, however, then he will be going nowhere this winter.
As per a report from **[Mundo Deportivo](https://www.mundodeportivo.com/futbol/fc-barcelona/20241220/1002374544/pau-victor-claro-futuro-inmediato.html)**:
‘Not only does he not fear for his continuity but he is convinced that he will have more minutes under Hansi Flick in the next matches.’
With Víctor eager to stay put and prove himself, and Barcelona not planning any outgoings in January, a move to Real Betis, for the time being, therefore appears to be off the table.
