Orel Mangala has wished Dele Alli well after the 28-year-old issued an update that his future lies away from Goodison Park.

Dele posted a heartfelt message on his Instagram detailing that he is set to explore new opportunities in 2025.

Although his deal with the Toffees expired in the summer, the midfielder has continued to train with the club in the hope of getting himself ready to play regular football again.

As he departs the club, Mangala took to Instagram himself to wish Dele well as he commented on the post: “All the best brother” alongside a blue heart.

Orel Mangala shows his support for Dele Alli

The fact that Mangala sent Dele a message of support following his message about seeking new opportunities, shows how much of an impact the 28-year-old must have had at the club.

MORE TOFFEES STORIES

The midfielder was out of contract in the summer which is when Mangala joined the club on a loan deal from Lyon. Therefore, the pair have only been training together throughout the season rather than being close teammates on match days.

Therefore, this suggests that the midfielder has been working hard to build himself up during his time with the Toffees which will only serve him well as he looks to move forward in his career now.

There is no doubt that Dele is a talented player although a step forward rather than trying to make it work in Merseyside is definitely the right option for all parties involved.

With the Friedkin Group’s takeover of the Blues now completed, they are a club that will be looking ahead to their new era while the Englishman tries to do the same in his career.

In other Everton news, Alan Myers has shared the challenge facing The Friedkin Group after the competition of their takeover.
