Eberechi Eze’s unavailability for Saturday’s match against Arsenal has left Oliver Glasner with a fresh selection headache.
The 26-year-old is ruled out of tomorrow’s Premier League clash at Selhurst Park after unsettling his swollen foot earlier this week.
Glasner took the decision to avoid risking the attacker on Friday but is yet to select who will start in his place.
In the absence of Eze, Justin Devenny, Daichi Kamada and Eddie Nketiah are Glasner’s three options to play off the left, with the manager set to make his final decision on Saturday.
“We have different options there,” said Glasner. “It can be Daichi, he did very well at Brighton. He was also okay and difficult against Arsenal.
“Eddie can play in this position, and we have Justin, who did great in the games when you played there at Villa, for example.
“These are the options we have. I took the decision this morning that it makes no sense playing Eze tomorrow, so I haven’t decided who will start. It will be one of these three players.”
